A large number of file formats are supported by the Dragonfly Image Loader — standard image files, raw data, TIFF stacks, and a number of proprietary file formats (see Supported File Formats). These files can be imported from local and network drives or from storage devices such as CDs, DVDs, and USB keys.
The Image Loader works like a wizard, in which a succession of dialogs are presented to help you navigate the process of importing image files. In addition, two optional dialogs — Preview and Crop the Image — are available to preview a dataset and to change the dimensions of the files that will be imported.
